I got an idea...

Today I thought, why not tone the paper before painting on it, like with a canvas before applying oil paint. Normally you don't with watercolour but, bing, lightbulb... I used white gouache and hot pink watercolour first! Then pen and ink. Of course, lightbulb is the topic of the DPW Challenge too.

  12. Which pens do you use on top of paint Nora? I used my Farber Castell and ruined it. Now I am afraid to try any of my others...
    Lovely drawing on paint here.

  13. The background really works, and the line around containing it. The light bulb is great, so individual, and it's alter ego really makes the picture. Love it.
