that makes two of us


I was inspired to paint this striped fabric. I thought pears, with their lovely greens and wonderful shapes, would compliment it nicely.

  6. It vibrates. The yellow in the corners seems to lead the eye to the yellow on the pears. I can feel myself biting into one of those juicy pears, and the juice just dribbling down my chin. Delicious.

  20. Every time I see a pear painting, I think I have a new favorite. This one is now in the lead. Love the plaid behind and the point of view on this one. You've also captured the skin of the pears beautifully!
