the yellow house

SOLD

I love this corner house. Every time I walk past it I am inspired by it. I painted this on Hot Pressed Watercolour Paper, just to mix things up a bit. (Also it was on sale!) I like the way the pencil slides easily across the smooth texture, as opposed to the slight grain in my usual Cold Pressed Paper. I'll do a few more and see how it goes...
$50 - 5"x7" watercolour painting with 8"x10" matt.

  11. I think this is absolutely beautiful Nora. In fact, you've been a great inspiration to me and I plan on trying a piece myself that emulates your style a bit. I hope you will not mind. I just need to see if I can manage it since I do so love what you do!
