I do love this pattern!</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">For a while I was attempting to 'crochet in my ends' as I started a new row. However, with this pattern, a lot of the stitches are crocheted into the back bars of the previous row. So, when you come across the ends that have already been woven in... it gets a bit tricky. Well, it gets crowded.</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">So, I recommend waiting until you've done a few rows before weaving in those ends. Basically, don't crochet in your ends as you go, tempting and time-saving as it is. The Floral Paradise Mandala Afghan is a lot of work so, better to make it look nice and take your time.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-ecAtyC_1wJj0PsdLrret1M2cKmEjrTdXu2lbLhhDyUboZ-l3cnk8xLH7agCUh0XKeC3xqMU2JsDP_PIBttlZNSkrx-FO-rxquZ5qcNwq6cKbU-yg7iBmhLsjnQT-HGaK-b3qQa1Nkb6JuiUVzb17t1Sv8uNbp6x4Hszxft22QMnwkRAzX3Ke_0c_gA/s2840/nora%20macphail%20crochet%20annies%20kit%20clubs%20floral%20paradise%20mandala%20blanket%20afghan.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2689" data-original-width="2840" height="379" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-ecAtyC_1wJj0PsdLrret1M2cKmEjrTdXu2lbLhhDyUboZ-l3cnk8xLH7agCUh0XKeC3xqMU2JsDP_PIBttlZNSkrx-FO-rxquZ5qcNwq6cKbU-yg7iBmhLsjnQT-HGaK-b3qQa1Nkb6JuiUVzb17t1Sv8uNbp6x4Hszxft22QMnwkRAzX3Ke_0c_gA/w400-h379/nora%20macphail%20crochet%20annies%20kit%20clubs%20floral%20paradise%20mandala%20blanket%20afghan.JPG" width="400" /></a></div></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Having said that... my stitches are a bit tight in places. I'm motoring along. Here's my little review so far. Above is kit 1 and most of kit 2 finished! Loooove the colours. </span><span style="font-family: verdana;">The pattern has many new cute stitches like the shell stitch, the bean stitch and the star stitch. It's just so fun. And the 100% acrylic yarn, which is anti-pilling, is great to crochet with. Smooth but not slippery. So great. The pattern goes from using a 5mm hook to a 5.5mm hook. </span></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHf-cyYc_CnQhATDtE9QW8WIpYHHBLtYP_ava_qczeqPCrWpd9DkJTR9Zu8RPPTxIFlJb1qG3RBz6FiO_GGcN5I0Bvhq508cNrCopDehh7bPXo0NGQSmUzaSDIInRLQMn4TjPr62gvb4LxgMlZD4rBaof80fF-cxrlB3Te2FMq0xF-DYS3QrbFWZOiNw/s4032/annie's%20kit%20clubs%20crochet%20mandala%20floralparadise%20afghan%20blanket%20.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHf-cyYc_CnQhATDtE9QW8WIpYHHBLtYP_ava_qczeqPCrWpd9DkJTR9Zu8RPPTxIFlJb1qG3RBz6FiO_GGcN5I0Bvhq508cNrCopDehh7bPXo0NGQSmUzaSDIInRLQMn4TjPr62gvb4LxgMlZD4rBaof80fF-cxrlB3Te2FMq0xF-DYS3QrbFWZOiNw/w300-h400/annie's%20kit%20clubs%20crochet%20mandala%20floralparadise%20afghan%20blanket%20.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">The start of kit 3 is flowers!
