I love painting with red. It's such a warm wonderful colour. For some reason, it's kind of scary to use... but it often works great!

The Daily Paintworks Challenge this week is to paint your breakfast, which for me is a smoothie that includes strawberries, bananas, protein powder and my favourite ingredient, Pom pomegranate juice.

I painted this from a sketch I drew while walking down the street. I loved my drawing series "walking while drawing", which is exactly what it sounds like, draw, walk, don't lift the pencil and watch your step! Perhaps I'll get back to it.
