Happy New Year! This lovely "sassy bunch" are ready to charge into 2023. I painted along with the very talented Amy Brgner for this one. Then, I added a window so they could have a view of the sky. ; )

​Watercolour on Cradled Panel! I'm so please that I was able to safely adhere the 5x7" watercolour painting on paper to a 6x8" cradled panel. It's ready to go (see photo below). I painted the panel orange, which I think really adds to it, and then sprayed it with a watercolour friendly varnish. No more glass. Phew.

These cheerful violets with their bright yellow centres are certainly lightening the snowy mood today. Just because it's cold outside doesn't mean you can't find some cheer for inside. ; )

Well, I may have over bought at the flower shop. Hee hee. So, I grabbed two little cups and filled 'em up. I made sure the cups, (well I guess one is a vase) were different. I love the dark one. It's such an interesting shape - one of my faves.

Well, I recently found Little K here at a garage sale and I happily thought, 'he can be part of my finger puppet collection... and my painting series'. #toocute

Well, that's the second spoon I ever painted! (The first was from a Carol Marine reference photo and this one is from a Sarah Sedwick photo). Reflections in silver are always fun, like the green apples, but this time there's a kick on light on the inside of the creamer! Every painting brings a new little somethin'-somethin' to the game. ; )
