Tuesday's Portrait Session went very well thanks to our very patient and cheerful model Jerry.  Once I brought the piece home and looked at it, I decided to add a bit of orange to the background to balance his shirt. Plus, I added some splatters, of course!

family trip

I woke up bright and early this morning and painted these little guys in the morning sun. I tried to keep it simple. Meanwhile, still practising painting mountains in preparation for my trip. One more week!

I've never been a fan of yellow however, every once in awhile I try to embrace it and find the beauty in it. I think I'm starting to like it a bit more... It's just a difficult colour to paint with. ; )

Yippee! I'm very happy with the postcards I ordered from Moo.com. The site is wonderful, reasonably priced and super easy to use. You can use your own images to order business cards, greeting cards, stickers, etc.
