I painted this pretty red bicycle and doorway while out on a plein-air day with a Toronto art group. The little courtyard at the University of Toronto is beautiful and this scene just caught my eye. Check out my little paintbox that I use when outdoor painting. WooHoo!

This "little gateway" was painted on location when a group of friends and I went out to one of my favourite parks. The simple 3 logs that make up an entrance are so beautiful. There is just something gentle about it's construction. Once I drew it I, of course, added lots (and lots) of colour.

with a spring in your step!

8x10" mat included. I recently touched up these little cuties and I'm much happier with them. Flowers always bring lots of colour and joy to a room. Loooove painting them.

I loooove pink and red together. I also love these new 6x6" panels that I purchased. They are 1/4" thick, so they are nice and light. Also, the grain is very smooth and lovely to paint on. Thanks to Sarah Sedwick for an awesome still life set up.

I'm sooo inspired by oil painting lately! I work in watercolour a lot (because I teach beginners watercolour) and I love it however, the thick gooeyness of oil is super fun to work with.
