Sue's hat... Jim's hat

I'm really enjoying InkTober! It's got me doing 3-value portrait studies with an RSVP pen and wash, homework that is long overdue. It's easy to get caught up in the wonderful world of watercolour, but sometimes it's important to go back to basics. Also, I do love painting people wearing hats. : )

In 2009, an awesome artist named James Parker started InkTober. Everyone is welcome to join in and you don't have to post everyday, just whenever you can through the month of October! Here are the very loose 'rules'.
