Pear Pals

$80 - 5x7" original watercolour painting with 8x10"acid-free mat.
Side by side, these pear pals are full of splashes of colour! I drew them with a charcoal pencil, which darkens as it gets wet, then I added as much pink, red, purple and green as I could!

a night out

$100 - 9x12" watercolour painting
I'm inside today, where it's toasty warm, painting a lovely Japanese influenced still life. I'm anxious for some snow to fall, so I can get outside and do some plein-air painting. There isn't any point painting out there if it's just cold, and no snow. ; )

just walk beside me and be my friend

SOLD

$50 - 5"x7"painting with 8"x10"matt.
I got the title of this painting from a wonderful poem by Albert Camus.
Don't walk behind me; I may not lead.
Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow.
Just walk beside me and be my friend.

that makes two of us

I was inspired to paint this striped fabric. I thought pears, with their lovely greens and wonderful shapes, would compliment it nicely.
