BJ's red hat


Another Tuesday night portrait session. I'm very happy with the likeness to BJ in this one. I usually paint on an 8"x10" paper, but last night I used 14"x18" and a big brush, which was way more fun.

    Hi there Nora!... A very sensitive portrait which captures the sitter's expression of thought!

    The combination of light line and wash really work... on the larger sheet to produce a first class watercolour! Reminds me of a Charles Reid study... and that's a compliment for sure!
