PAINT ALONG WITH ME
in this Zoom class we will explore watercolour tips
using snowscapes as our subject.
This practical approach can be used
for ANY subject you like to paint!

We will paint objects that can be found in a city setting,
like bicycles, dog walkers, and cars,
all with snow on them.

Using white gouache and lots of colourful snow shadows,
you'll learn lots of tips to add to your own style of painting.

Some watercolour experience is suggested.
Please be familiar with Zoom before attending.

Oil Portrait Fun!

Oil Portraits on 5x7" panels that were painted during my Zoom Portrait Sessions. It's just been great! Usually there are about 23 of us artists meeting every week and posing for each other on Zoom. The poses are about 20 minutes each. I prep my panels with gesso and a green wash, then I mix a few colours before the session starts.
The first one, I was suddenly motivate to block in the whole room as loose as I could, and kept the portrait small. Somethin' different...

$100 - 8x10" on watercolour paper.
It was my honour to be invited by the Toronto Watercolour Society to do a painting demonstration last night. Such a great group of very talented experienced artists. I was a member of the group for over a decade and it was wonderful to see so many old friends. Thanks Zoom!
