Seated Dude
I thought I'd add students to the foreground of today's Life Drawing Session. Lately I've been drawing the model (as a middle ground) with the students (as the background). I really like the added foreground element, however it means I have to sit in the back... I may need to buy some binoculars before next session!

I like what you did. You took a life drawing "still life" and turned it into an interesting painting by adding life. Good thinking Nora.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic view into your world!! It feels like I'm part of the class!
ReplyDeleteIndead, that looks very nice those people on the foreground. I think it would look a little bit odd if you sit there with the binoculars. The other students may got a strange idea about you:)
ReplyDeleteThe foreground people add a great deal to the composition. Superb sketch as always. :)
ReplyDeletevery beautiful... you have retained your style which is your own...
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice touch with the group in the foreground. It's like a snapshot, a close-up of a class. Very well done.
