I'm getting lots of questions about life drawing, so next session I'll take some pictures of my set up and the studio!
This painting was a 20 minute pose which I drew with 6B pencil then painted with watercolour during the session. I do not change or add anything once I am home. The direct painting approach I take (completed in one sitting) means, it is what it is!

ReplyDeleteHello Nora:) So nice! The way you captured his pose! Like he's watching tv and has a good time:)... I like the chair in the middle. Your colors are great again!
ReplyDeleteYour 20 minute pose has certainly captured the figure well. I like how you put just enough colour in without over working.
ReplyDeleteYou keep your style fresh by the methods you use! Wonderful to see and read about1
ReplyDeleteHi Nora, I can hardly keep up with you these days, you're so prolific.
ReplyDeleteA very relaxing pose. Well done! Happy weekend!
Oohh... almost missed this one. Love the details in this, it is so soft and relaxed. I can feel the model being comfortable where she is. It is lovely as usual.
