One of my New Year's Painting Resolutions is to do more hand studies, so I thought I'd start early and do one for the Daily Paintworks12 Days of Christmas Challenge.
A lovely study of the hand Nora. I learn a lesson from you with every painting you show. Merry Christmas to you and yours and more wonderful work in 2013.
Such an original way to interpret the 'five gold rings'. An intriguing painting - the more I look at it, the more circles, rings, arcs and ellipses I see throughout the painting. Lovely hand. I have to admit hand-drawing has lapsed for a long time so you spur me to have a go again in the New Year. Best wishes for Christmas, and for a peaceful and healthy year in 2013.
Nora,
