crackle

SOLD

One of my many New Year's Resolutions is to paint animals. I thought this wonderful Mountain Sheep was the perfect place to start.  The reference photo is from the website WetCanvas which supplies artists with photos.

    They say sheep are just mindless followers in a crowd, but this Mountain Sheep looks very intelligent, looking straight at me with questioning eyes. Such personality he has. I think my favourite parts are the horns, the subtle, varied colours are beautiful.
