Here's my version for the painting challenge from Rookie Painter. It's on artist's quality Yuppo paper, which is 'slippery' like finger paint paper or vellum.
When I first saw the painting I thought it looked like really smooth paper, it gives such a good effect letting the paint run so well. This really is a lovely painting.
Nora this is wonderful, and I love the title! For me it's delightfully ironic because this painting is about everything but that bowl. Great values in the fabric, and that free, sketchy style of yours comes through beautifully. ♥ it!
The yuppo gives a wonderful effect and it makes a beautiful painting, Nora!

ReplyDeleteWonderful handling of watercolor on Yupo. I tried it myself years ago and gave up but you make it look so easy.
