This woman plunked herself down in a chair at Starbucks and, since body language is everything in figure drawing, I knew I had to draw her quick as I could. This is on Yuppo paper which is smooth like finger paint paper. It gives a great effect with watercolour, which I added at home.

Frank Frazetta is a great comic book artist and I love these polar bears that he originally did in oil. I knew Yuppo paper would be perfect for the wet, icy, cold style I was trying to achieve.
