Another very charming painting Nora; the colors sing. I notice that you squared off an area--is this a drawing technique/tool I missed? You've sparked my curiosity.
Hello Nora. The red and yellow are looking great together. I also like the purple shadow of the water. Nice loose painted! B.t.w. I send Cheapjoe an e-mail but didn't receive an answer yet!
Hello, Nora! Glad you stopped by my blog earlier...it's so great to meet other artists :) Your watercolor work is so fresh and lively...I love it! Great image!
I started out painting with watercolor and am now working on painting with acrylic...the change is certainly a challenge.
Nora, I can tell you love to draw. I feel the same way. I think a good drawing is the "bones" under a nice loose watercolor. You have a wonderful fresh drawing style.
Love this painting ! You have used such bold colors, orange and red together is very courageous, but it works beautifully. A real eye opener! I was convinced I already commented on this post, but probably I wrote the text and forgot to click on 'publish', not the first time :-)
Nora, it's fabulous! Are you using Yupo paper here, or another kind of paper?

ReplyDeleteLove this one Nora. The colors hits you in the face, but in a nice way. The stripes gives the red flowers a nice "harder" contrast.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Nora! I love the yellow stripes!
