Hi, Nora - and thank you for stopping by my blog and your nice comment. I just spent some time looking through your blog and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing your very fresh and joyful approach. I really like how you draw - your contour lines capture the spirit of the subject as well as the form. And the watercolor adds so much excitement! I am very drawn to the figurative work - its wonderful!
Ciao Nora, I like the person painted behind because it is possible imagine what everyone want. (I painted some and posted some) This red woman is very interesting because she read concentrated a book, have the glasses and the unbrella so we can imagine a lot of things about she. I like the colours too. Heve you seen the work of Tony Allain? He use pastels and paint a lot of people back while looks paintings. Ciao, abbracci, Floriana
Loved the pose you chose from behind, though we dont see her face we still feel very well connected.. and the red of course is inspiring me to pick up my brushes right away!
