Happy Canada Day!

I've discovered that flag studies are just as challenging, and fun, as figure studies. I drew these from the window of a second floor coffee shop. Happy Canada Day!

  31. I imagine drawing a flag in the breeze would be like drawing a figure in motion, in either event you really have to study what it does and how it moves. This painting really gives the sensation that the flags are blowing, I like it.
