These are great! You completely captured the mannerisms as he sat there. I'm impressed! I don't like the Passion flavor as much as the Green tea from starbucks, or the Vanilla Rooibus.
Love your drawing and painting style...it always conveys movement and something happening. Must look up this passion iced tea though, had never heard of it!
So funny how you ignored the uninspiring model and painted another painter! He looks terrific in both, very focused on his work. Lovely bits with the purple sneakers and the pink glass and bright green bag.
Such an interesting sketch, with so much much personality ..... now is he called Harold, or perhaps Gregg. Even in the sketch he definitely has a name. I do appreciate the comments you leave on my blog, and look forward to seeing a Brushes painting if you ever do try it.
Very nice! I love your style and I like Passion Iced Tea, too. :)
ReplyDeleteAgain your skill with gesture makes these images. I love the insouciance of the second one in particular.
