I'm glad you rise to the challenge. It's a lovely work -- the expression is very compelling and I love the colors. I think you've captured a sense of contemplation and a bit of timeless beauty.
That's a very important statement: the challenge doesn't get easier, it just changes. I think that's because you are challenging yourself to go farther and hone new skills with each portrait you paint. This one is wonderful. I like the way you used color to help tell her story and show her personality.
