portrait of a young woman

SOLD

Today's portrait painting model was the lovely Kate. No matter how much I paint, I find that the challenge doesn't get any easier, it just changes...

  1. I had to laugh when reading your words about working from life. I had the exact same thoughts in my life drawing sessions earlier this week! Wonderful, and unique work, Nora!

  5. That's a very important statement: the challenge doesn't get easier, it just changes. I think that's because you are challenging yourself to go farther and hone new skills with each portrait you paint. This one is wonderful. I like the way you used color to help tell her story and show her personality.

  6. Olá Nora!
Como é habitual os teus trabalhos são muito característicos: há a cor que usas de forma abundante e maravilhosa! Um abraço.

  11. But you do such a wonderful job. Look at how you carried the bits of orange throughout the painting. And look at those eyes. Beautiful
