in the mood for a memory

SOLD

Now, I know Billy Joel's "Piano Man" lyrics are ...'son can you play me a memory' and 'we're all in the mood for a melody' but as a kid I always got it wrong and reversed them. I kinda prefer it my way(!), hence the title of this painting. Click on image to enlarge.
$140 - 12x16" painting.

  1. Hard to pick a favorite part of the painting........but I am really loving the piano. All the colors playing around. Great.

  4. I like your way better too, Nora. I always wanted to learn to play the piano and I don't seem like I'm picking up the harp as easily as I'd hoped either. This guy's piano is gorgeous! Such a beautiful memory and painting.
