A Day at the Museum

I spent the day at the Royal Ontario Museum where I drew this gorgeous giant panda. Today I decided ALL sketches will be on watercolour paper, no more cheap sketchbooks or newsprint... just in case it turns out 'watercolour worthy'!

  2. Great panda and you're so on the right way about the paper, why risk making a masterpiece on a crappy paper. And the combination of your delicate line and watercolor is one of your strength

  6. Hi Nora. Thanks for visiting my blog today. I really like meeting new artists and seeing their work. I think your work is light and fun and I especially like your animals. Watercolor has always been a challenge for me and you handle it just beautifully. Jill

  8. I love all those colors in the black areas of the panda, and the more distant legs in the lighter value. Simply, beautifully done Nora.
And I think you are right-on with that paper. A great piece is too precious to waste.
