  1. Interesting contrast between the colourful elements and the monochromatic passage in the centre. It works very well as a means of holding interest.

  13. I had such a pleasant walk through this painting. Past the tree and the sunflowers, up the steps to see a neighbour, past the purple-shadowed building and on to the next vista.
    I think the most important thing about your paintings is that a story always comes through, and it's the story the viewer sees because your techniques are so good -they allow the story to come through.
