I've been wanting to paint this scene for a loooooong time. But, I've been too chicken. Well, today I thought "I'm going for it"!! Soooo glad that I did. 

This is my second piece on the professionally gessoed Ampersand boards. As you can see from the pic below, it says 'smooth finish' - boy, they're not kidding. It was like silk!

I loved painting these big pink glasses! And her expression is so cute. Thanks again to the awesome sktchy app for providing photos for all of us artist to paint from. Especially during these difficult times when portrait sessions are on hold.
