I was creating watercolour washes on some new paper and the next thing I knew, this happened! I'm super happy with it and I'm super duper excited about a new direction in my work. : )

I created this painting based on sketches of trees in my sketchbook. So, I guess that makes it my first imaginary landscape. I concentrated on reproducing the trees interesting shapes then added lots of cobalt violet and splatters!
