LETTER with FLOWERS on ZOOM

$40 Canadian
Just click BUY NOW button below. Class only. No Recording.
(PayPal converts currency for you if necessary).
SOLD OUT
Hello Artist Friends,
I'm so glad you're interested in joining me on ZOOM!!
Tuesday Dec.9, '25 from 6-8pm ET.

During this 2 hour Watercolour Workshop we'll paint your favourite letter and surround it with lovely simple flowers. The lesson is all about COLOUR and DESIGN. You'll choose a palette of selected colours, that suits you, and then place pretty flowers or holly around the edges. It makes for a lovely composition with a personal touch.

This artwork makes a great gift! It can also be turned into a card for someone special this holiday season. (Or just keep it for yourself!)

I will share my screen with you so you can paint-a-long as we create our watercolour paintings. My Zoom set up makes it easy for you to watch me painting on your computer or iPad screen. (iPhone viewing is not recommended since the screen is too small).

Materials List Below.

PLEASE NOTE: I will communicate with you through the email address you used with your PayPal account - unless you tell me otherwise. My PayPal account will say "Watercolours by Nora"
😀

Join me as I take you step-by-step through the drawing and painting process. WooHoo!

portrait study

I found some time to get back to portraits on Sunday at our weekly portrait session. The 3/4 angle is such a tough one... because of the far eye... I'm still working this angle out.

first day back

Well, I tried something new at my Life Drawing Session today. I thought I'd start the year off by switching it up!

This is the demo that I painted for the lovely Mississauga Art Club. The Iris is a flower with such a magnificent shape, a real joy to paint.

Bayview Watercolour Society

A few evenings ago, I did a Watercolour Demo for the Bayview Watercolour Society. First I spoke about my work as a daily painter, then about learning to draw from life drawing sessions and finally about being an urban sketcher. After the break I painted a small still life set up, which you can see in the bottom right.
Great wonderful intimate group. Thanks to everyone that attended!

Teaching and Horses

The lovely talented artists in the Self-Portrait Drawing Class I'm teaching did wonderful on Thursday night!
And... today I did a little 'horse homework'.

Awesome App!

I just discovered this awesome app/website called Quickposes. I'm working towards a 'certificate' they offer, 10 hours of drawing gestures in 20 days (30mins a day/2 minute poses). They are really great models. I used charcoal pencil on 11x14"newsprint pad. : )

Watercolour Demo - April 13, 2015

If you're in Toronto on Monday April 13, 2015, I'll be doing a watercolour demonstration! Actually, first I'll be talking a bit about life drawing short poses, since so many fellow life drawing artists will be there, then I'll be doing a flower demo. There will be cookies!

Cawthra Art Group

I just finished teaching the wonderful Cawthra Art Group. We spent 4 weeks together covering cafe scenes, cityscapes, still life and, as you can see, Einstein portraits! It was a fantastic experience with lovely and talented artists!
Thanks again to a warm and wonderful gang!

rain or shine

Even cold winds and rain won't keep artists from life drawing class!
Also, since my watercolours are about line and colour, it's been back to basics in my sketchbook, concentrating on values in charcoal.
