I've been interested in the look of things under water lately. (Like last week's bear feet). Today is was the white rocks that take on beautiful brown and orange colours in a shallow creek. I've wanted to paint this photo of mine for a long time and happily, today was the day!

Back from a wonderful loooonnggg vacation during one of the most fantastic summer's ever! It's been sunny with a cool breeze almost every day. Even the adorable dogs along the Humber River are enjoying it!

My aim for this piece was to keep the line and brush work as expressive as possible. This was done at the awesome Toronto Botanical Gardens when I didn't plan on being there, but was prepared to paint just in case!

Fishing friends. I painted this from life over at Humber River. The guys looked so cute from a distance!
