I'm home from Italy! With lots of sketches. Can't decide if I'll add a splash of watercolour to them now that I'm home... as was the plan. I kinda like them as they are.  Hmm.

This woman plunked herself down in a chair at Starbucks and, since body language is everything in figure drawing, I knew I had to draw her quick as I could. This is on Yuppo paper which is smooth like finger paint paper. It gives a great effect with watercolour, which I added at home.

I'm back into watercolour lately, so I brought it to my Life Drawing session. I loved painting the dark sweater with watercolour.  Soooo different than how I would have painted it in oil!
